The Rigal Motor Company was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company started producing automobiles in 1902. The brand name was Rigal . There was a connection with the British Germain Motor Car Company . Sales in England were carried out by the English Motor Company , Hanover Court 3, Hanover Square in London , which also offered the Oilmobile and the Lipscomb . The vehicles were presented at the Stanley Show in 1902 and at the Motor Show of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) from January to February 1903. In 1903, production ended.

The only model was equipped with a chassis of Lacoste & Battmann equipped. A single-cylinder engine from De Dion-Bouton with 6 hp was usually used for the drive . Alternatively, a stand built-in motor of Aster with 7 hp power. The original price was 195 pounds sterling .
