Édouard Rossel was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Édouard Rossel graduated from the Institut industriel du Nord ( École Centrale de Lille ) as an engineer in 1882 and began working as a steam engine engineer . He founded the company that bore his name in Lille in 1896 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Rossel . Production ended in 1899. There was no connection to Automobiles Rossel .
vehicles
Initially, vehicles with two-cylinder engines were built under license from Daimler . In 1899, the company used its own engines based on Daimler engines. These engines were also sold to Rochet .
