The Société des Constructions de Cycles et Automobiles Lunant was a French manufacturer of bicycles and automobiles .
Company history
J. Lunant founded the company in Lyon to manufacture bicycles in the 1890s . In 1900 automobile production was added. The brand name was Lunant . Production ended in 1914.
vehicles
The first model was an electric car . In 1906 there were models with single-cylinder engines and either 8 hp or 10 hp. The larger models with four-cylinder engines produced either 16 hp, 24 hp or 40 hp and were only made to order. In 1908 the 8/10 CV models with a single-cylinder engine and 16/20 CV with a four-cylinder engine were in the range. In 1913, the last model was the 10/12 CV with a four-cylinder engine and cardan drive .
