The SA des Automobiles Louis Ravel was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Louis Ravel founded the company in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1900 and began producing automobiles. Production ended in 1902. At the same time, the car manufacturer Joseph et Édouard Ravel , headed by Joseph Ravel and Édouard Ravel, a cousin of Louis Ravel , also existed in Neuilly-sur-Seine . In 1923 Louis and Édouard Ravel founded Automobiles Ravel in Besançon .

The only model was a small car. A V2 engine with 5 hp provided the drive . The engine was mounted under the seat and drove the rear axle.
