Gauthier et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The engineer Gauthier founded the company in La Garenne-Colombes in 1904 and began producing automobiles. In 1933 the company was renamed G. Gauthier and moved to Blois . In 1937, production ended after around 350 copies had been made.

vehicles

Light tricycle cars were offered with the single wheel at the rear. Sometimes the model names L'Auto-Plume Cabri or L'Auto-Fauteuil were used. Both air-cooled and water-cooled single - cylinder engines with 350 cm³, 400 cm³, 500 cm³ and 550 cm³ displacement were available . There was also the Avionette model between 1918 and 1927 . It was a cycle car . A V2 engine provided the drive .
