Lorraine-Dietrich was a French car brand.
Company history
The company took over the production of automobiles from De Dietrich in 1905 . The brand name was initially Lorraine-Dietrich , from 1928 Lorraine (French for Lorraine ). In 1934 the production of automobiles ended. In the following years, the focus was on military vehicles. During this time, the Lorraine 37L , which was manufactured from 1939, was created. Lorraine-Dietrich built the engine for the L'Oiseau Blanc aircraft .

Initially, four-cylinder models were made. In 1919 the model D 2-6 30 CV appeared with a six-cylinder engine , 6104 cm³ displacement and 75 hp . The smaller six-cylinder model B 3-6 15 CV , also called 16 CV , with 3446 cm³ displacement and between 50 and 90 hp output soon followed . The four-cylinder model A 4 10/12 CV followed in 1923 with a displacement of 2296 cc and 45 to 55 hp.
Lorraine
The models B 3-6 15 CV and A 4 10/12 CV continued to be produced. The small model was discontinued in 1929. In 1931 the 310/311 20 CV appeared with a six-cylinder engine, 4086 cm³ displacement and 90 hp. There was also a six-wheeled vehicle licensed by Tatra .
