Voiturettes Clem was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Gaston Bouvier, who previously worked at La Buire , founded the Compagnie Lyonnaise d'Etudes Mécaniques in Lyon in 1912 and began producing automobiles with a workforce of 20 people. The brand name was Clem . Around 10 vehicles were built per month. In February 1914, Bouvier left the company. The successors renamed it Société des Voiturettes Clem, G. Gineste-Lacaze et Compagnie . Production ended in the same year.

First there was the model 7 CV with a four-cylinder engine of Fondu with 1,130 cc engine capacity . The chassis came from Dupressoir . The body offered space for two people. In 1914, the larger 8/10 CV model was added to the range, with an engine having a capacity of 1320 cm³. This model was also available as a four-seater.
