Ateliers Veuve A. de Mesmay was a French manufacturer of automobiles and engines .

Company history

The Saint-Quentin company started producing built-in motors in the 1900s . In 1906 the automobile industry was added. The brand names were AM and Abeille . Production ended in 1915.

In 1906 there was a model with a two-cylinder engine and 12 hp in the range, which was offered under the brand name Abeille . There were also four-cylinder models with 12 hp, 20 hp and 24 hp.

Built-in engines were supplied to the following automobile manufacturers: Anderheggen , Brush , Lambert , Passy-Thellier , Sage and Velox .
