The Société l'Austral was a French manufacturer of motor vehicles.

Company history

The company Habert & Cie , later Société l'Austral from Paris, began producing automobiles in 1901 . In 1908, motorcycles under the Cycles Austral brand added to the range. In 1910 the production of automobiles ended, and in 1932 so did the production of motorcycles.

Built-in motors from JAP and Zürcher provided the drive . These were two-stroke engines with 211 cm³ and 246 cm³ displacement and four-stroke engines with 248 cm³ and 348 cm³ displacement.
