The Société Européenne d'Automobiles was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Société Européenne d'Automobiles in Paris began in 1899 with the production of automobiles. Production ended in 1903.

vehicles

The company initially manufactured steam cars based on patents from Messrs. Tatin and Tanière. These were optionally three-wheelers with a single front wheel as two-seater and four-wheeled vehicles with four seats in a dos-à-dos arrangement. The maximum speed was initially given as 25 km / h. The tricycle was missing from the Paris Motor Show in July 1900; and the four-wheeler was now given a top speed of 45 km / h.

In 1900 there was also the 12 CV model with a gasoline engine and four seats and in 1903 the 6 CV with a built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton as a four-seater tonneau .

In 1903 a 30 CV racing car was created that took part in the Paris – Madrid car race.
