Vilain Frères was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1900. The brand names were Vilain in France and 1902 Motormobiles in England . Production ended in 1902. One source states that the company existed until 1905.

vehicles

The first model was the 6/8 CV with a two-cylinder engine . Initially, the engine was mounted in the rear and powered the rear axle via chains. From 1901 the engines were arranged in the center of the vehicle. 1902 followed models with single-cylinder engines , the optional 7 PS rendered or 10 hp.
