Wacheux was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Calais company began producing automobiles in 1903. The brand name was Wacheux . Production ended in 1905.

vehicles

The company manufactured small cars. They were similar to the models from Lacoste & Battmann . A wooden frame served as the chassis . A single cylinder engine from De Dion-Bouton with 502 cm³ displacement provided the drive . The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle. The transmission had four gears. One vehicle still exists.
