Barrière et Compagnie was a French manufacturer of bicycles and automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company originally made bicycles. In 1898 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Barrière . Their production ended in 1900. Another source indicates that automobiles continued to emerge at least until 1904.

The automobiles were three-wheelers. They offered space for two people next to each other. A gasoline engine with 2 hp provided the drive .
