The Société Louis Créanche was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Courbevoie company started producing automobiles in 1899. The brand name was Créanche . Production ended in 1906.
vehicles
The first model was available from 1899 to 1905. This was a small car, a tricycle according to one source. The motor could be moved in the longitudinal axis, which changed the tension of the drive belt. Therefore a clutch was unnecessary. A built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton with 4 hp was used .
There was also an electric car produced by Bouquet, Garcin et Schivre for Créanche.
In 1902 the 8 CV appeared with a De Dion-Bouton engine. In 1904 the range consisted of five models from 8 CV to 30 CV , in 1905 five models from 10 CV to 30 CV , and in 1906 four models up to 16 CV . Except for the 30 CV with chain drive, these models had cardan drive .
