The Société Hérald was a French automobile manufacturer .

Company history

The Levallois-Perret company began producing automobiles in 1901 under the direction of Pierre Onfray. The brand name was Hérald . Production ended in 1906.

In 1901 there was a single-cylinder model , the engine of which was developed in collaboration with Onfray , and the 14 CV model with a two-cylinder engine . In 1902 the two-cylinder models 9 CV and 12 CV were added. In 1903 the four-cylinder models 16 CV and 20 CV appeared . From 1905 the offer consisted of the two-cylinder model 10 CV , the four-cylinder model 16 CV with 3328 cm³ displacement and 18.5 HP and the large four-cylinder model 28 CV .
