Établissements Griffon was a French manufacturer of bicycles , motorcycles and automobiles .
Company history
The Courbevoie company started producing motorcycles in 1902. In addition, automobiles were made between 1906 and 1924. The brand name was Griffon . Griffon was taken over by Peugeot around 1925, but existed as a brand until 1955.

In the beginning, motorcycles with single-cylinder and V2 engines were produced in-house , which were also successfully used in motorcycle races. Two-stroke engines were also used later .
Automobiles
Between 1906 and 1910 the model 7 CV with a single cylinder built-in engine was manufactured by De Dion-Bouton . The open body offered space for two people. A cycle car followed in 1921 . A V2 engine from Anzani with 984 cm³ displacement provided the drive .
