The Société des Usines du Paquis was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Hainon family began producing chassis and accessories for automobiles in Cons-la-Grandville in 1905 . However, the company was only founded in 1908. In 1910 a factory for engine production for Le Zèbre was set up in Asnières-sur-Seine . In 1919, production of its own automobiles began under the direction of Albert Henou. The brand names were SUP and Henou . Automobile production ended in 1923.

On offer were models that were mainly equipped with built-in motors from various manufacturers. Are called Altos , Ballot , Chapuis-Dornier , Janvier and Sergeant . One model was powered by a four-cylinder engine from Levêque Frères , brand Sergant , with 1843 cm³ displacement , and in another, a separate engine with 1745 cm³ displacement. The vehicles were equipped with a four-speed gearbox.

The company also supplied vehicle frames to Eclipse and Escol .
