The SA des Automobiles Grégoire was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Jean-Pierre Grégoire, who was previously the co-owner of Soncin , founded the Grégoire et Cie company in Poissy in 1903 and began producing automobiles in 1904. In 1907 the name of the automobile Grégoire was changed to SA . In 1919 the company came under the control of Forges et Ateliers de la Fournaise . In 1921 several models were created for Bignan . Production ended in 1924.

First there was the single-cylinder model 8 CV , the two-cylinder model 12 CV and from 1904 the four-cylinder model 20 CV . In 1908 there was the four-cylinder model 10 CV with a displacement of 2000 cm³ , in 1911 the 16/24 CV was added.

Vehicles of this brand can be seen in several automobile museums, mainly in France.

Hinstin developed a sporty small car from one of Grégoire's last prototypes and launched it under his own name.
