L. Mégy was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company L. MEGY from Paris began in 1901 under the direction of Lucien MEGY with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Mégy . Production ended in 1903. It is unclear whether the company is identical to the company that received a patent for a machine with a vibrating cylinder in 1881 .

vehicles

The vehicles were particularly easy to use. The transmission was automated according to the standards of the time. Clutch and brakes were operated by raising and lowering the steering wheel. In 1903, three vehicles in the body shapes of tonneau , sedan and racing car stood at the Paris Motor Show . However, the racing car has not been used in an important race.
