The Société Hautier was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Paris-based company started producing automobiles in 1899. In 1900 the company exhibited vehicles at the Paris Motor Show . Production ended in 1905.

The first model was an electric car . This model was no longer available as early as 1900.
The first model with a gasoline engine followed in 1900. A single-cylinder built -in engine from Soncin provided the drive . In 1902 the range consisted of a single-cylinder model, a two-cylinder model and a four-cylinder model . A special feature were the same cylinder dimensions of the engines. This resulted in 902 cm³, 1804 cm³ and 3608 cm³ displacement . The election was shaft drive and chain drive .
A vehicle of this brand can be seen in the Musée des arts et métiers in Paris .
