Tribet et Compagnie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Camille Tribet founded the company in Villeneuve-la-Garenne in 1909 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Tribet . Production ended in 1914.

Initially, the 8/10 CV models with a four-cylinder engine , which were also used in car races, and the 12/16 CV with a six-cylinder engine were on offer. The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle via a cardan shaft . In 1910 the 12 CV followed , also known as the Cabriolette , whose four-cylinder engine had a displacement of 1539 cm³ . The 8 CV was a tricycle.
