Svelte was a French car brand.

Company history

The company SA of Constructions Mécaniques de la Loire from Saint-Etienne put motorcycles and firearms ago. In 1906 the production of automobiles began , which were marketed as Svelte . Automobile production ended in 1907. In total, only a few copies were made. The connection to the Société Manufacturière d'Armes is unclear.
