Garage Moderne was a French automobile workshop and at times a manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Adrien Morin (1880–1968) gained experience in automobile construction at Vinot & Deguingand , Decauville and Cornilleau & Sainte-Beuve . In 1913 he founded in Thouars the company Garage Moderne as a repair workshop and began the production of automobiles . The brand name was Tuar . In 1922 the company had 50 employees. Automobile production ended in 1925. A total of around 800 vehicles were built. The company existed until 1956.

Vehicles were produced on chassis by Malicet & Blin . Various built-in motors were available :
- Four-cylinder engine with 1244 cc, 1495 cc, 1503 cc and 1821 cc displacement of Chapuis-Dornier
 - Four-cylinder engine with 1601 cm³ displacement and six-cylinder engine with 1496 cm³ displacement from CIME
 - 1327 cc and 1496 cc engines from Fivet
 - Ruby motors
