Automobiles SPAG was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from Asnières-sur-Seine started producing automobiles in 1927. The brand name was SPAG . The designers were A. Simille and G. Péquinot. The first letters of their names resulted in the company name. Production ended in 1928. A total of 26 or 27 vehicles were built.
vehicles
Small sports cars were made. The chassis , engine , radiator , brakes and body were not manufactured in-house, but bought from manufacturers of car parts in the greater Paris area . Among other things were four-cylinder engines of Chapuis-Dornier , CIME , Ruby and SCAP available. Touring cars with a displacement of 1,100 cm³ and sports cars with a displacement of 1,500 cm³ were offered, both with open and closed bodies. D'Osnibichine took part in the Bol d'Or race in a sports car in 1927 .
Two vehicles still exist today, one of which is owned by Ecurie Anges Bleus .
