Jouffret was a French car brand.

Company history

Léon Demeester, who until 1914 manufactured vehicles in his company Automobiles H. Demeester in Courbevoie , founded the new company H. Demeester in Colombes in 1920 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand name was Jouffret . Sidéa was taken over in 1924 . Production ended in 1928.

The first model had a four-cylinder engine of Ballot with side valves and 1,590 cc engine capacity . Later built-in engines from CIME with 1200 cm³ and 1598 cm³ displacement and from SCAP with 1170 cm³ displacement were used. The transmissions had four gears. Later models had Perrot four-wheel brakes .
