Company history

The Société A. Marguerite company from Courbevoie began producing automobiles around 1922 under the direction of the brothers Alexandre and Fernand Marguerite. In addition to the production of our own automobiles, which were marketed as Marguerite , chassis were also created for other companies that made finished vehicles from them. In addition, complete unbranded vehicles were sold to other companies who branded and sold them. In 1928 Zamorano de Biedema took over the company and changed the brand name to Morano-Marguerite . Production ended that same year after Zamorano de Biedema lost his fortune at the Deauville Casino. The company produced a total of around 450 vehicles and chassis.

vehicles

The models were small, sporty vehicles. The vehicles had a conventional chassis with a front engine and rear wheel drive . In all cases, built-in motors from other manufacturers were used. There was a choice of both open and closed bodies.
