The Marguerite type BO 2 was a sporty passenger car.

Manufacturer and construction time

The French company Société A. Marguerite from Courbevoie started producing automobiles around 1922 . The production of the Marguerite type BO 2 took place from 1927 to 1928.

The chassis was a conventional, but particularly low chassis with a front engine and rear-wheel drive . A four-cylinder built -in engine from Chapuis-Dornier with 1095 cm³ displacement and OHV valve control , three -valve technology and double carburetors provided the drive for 23 vehicles . Two vehicles were equipped with a four-cylinder SCAP engine with a displacement of 1100 cc. The chassis had a track width of 125 cm and a wheelbase of 260 cm. The vehicles were created as open two-seater. The sports cars were also used in car races. The design-related top speed was specified as 134 km / h for the Chapuis-Dornier model and 141 km / h for the SCAP model.

Predecessor and successor

The model was replaced by the successor Morano-Marguerite type BO 2 in 1928 .
