Manufacturer and construction time

The French company Société A. Marguerite from Courbevoie began producing automobiles around 1922 , which were marketed as Marguerite . When Zamorano de Biedema took over the company in 1928, he changed the brand name to Morano-Marguerite . The production of the Morano-Marguerite type BO 2 as the successor to the Marguerite type BO 2 took place in 1928.

vehicle

The chassis was a conventional, but particularly low chassis with a front engine and rear-wheel drive . A four-cylinder built -in engine from Chapuis-Dornier with 1095 cm³ displacement and OHV valve control , three -valve technology and double carburetors provided the drive . The chassis had a track width of 125 cm and a wheelbase of 260 cm. The vehicles were created as open two-seater. The sports cars were also used in races. The design-related maximum speed was specified as 134 km / h.

Races

The driver Morris took part in one of these vehicles at the VIII Grand Prix of Boulogne on September 9, 1928 , but did not reach the goal.

Production number and successor

Production of the model was discontinued in 1928 after five copies had been produced without a successor. A vehicle still exists today.
