Ryjan was a French car brand.

Company history

The company Grillet from Chatou began in 1920 with the production of automobiles . The brand name was Ryjan . In 1925 the company moved to Nanterre . Production ended in 1926.

Mid-range cars were on offer. A four-cylinder built -in engine from SCAP with a displacement of 1690 cm³ was initially used . From 1924 an engine from the same manufacturer with a displacement of 1614 cm³ was used, which was optionally available with side valves or with OHV valve control . From 1925 onwards, an Altos engine with a displacement of 2000 cc provided the drive. There was a choice of four-seater touring cars and limousines .
