Antoine Mourre founded the company in Paris in 1920 to manufacture automobiles. The brand name was Mourre . Production ended in 1923.

The first model was a cycle car . It was similar to the major . A two-cylinder two - stroke engine with a displacement of 1058 cm³ provided the drive . Mourre had acquired the rights to this engine from Marcel Violet and SICAM manufactured the engines for Mourre. The bonnet was made of aluminum , the body of mahogany and the fenders of steel . The vehicle was also used in car races.
In 1923 a small car with a four-cylinder four - stroke engine from Fivet with a displacement of 950 cc appeared .
