M. Janémian was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Bièvres company began producing automobiles in 1920. The brand name was Janémian . Production ended in 1923.

There were three similar models on offer, which only differed in terms of the engine and, therefore, also in terms of the classification. Initially, there was a choice of two two - cylinder boxer engines with a displacement of 1,100 cm³ and 1,400 cm³ . In 1922 a V2 engine with a displacement of 1095 cm³ replaced the previous engines. With the smaller engines, the vehicles were classified as cycle cars . In all models, the engine was in the rear. The rear wheels had a smaller track width than the front wheels.
