V. Janvier was a French manufacturer of automobiles and trucks .

Company history

Victor Janvier founded the company in Paris in 1901 and began producing automobiles and trucks. In 1901 and 1903 one vehicle was exhibited at the Paris Motor Show. Automobile production ended in 1904 and commercial vehicle production ended in 1907. There was no connection to Janvier, Sabin et Cie .

The only model was a six-wheeler. The four front wheels were smaller than the rear and were steered. The rear wheels were driven by a four-cylinder engine with 30 hp . The Tonneau body shape offered space for four or seven people.

The trucks were built on the same principle and were designed for a total weight of 7 tons .
