Établissements Cambier was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Lille in the 1890s to produce compressors . In 1897 the production of automobiles began. Production ended in 1905. Cambier from Mechelen was a licensee .

vehicles

The first model was equipped with a rear engine and was similar to the Benz models at the time . There was also the 30 CV model with a three-cylinder engine in 1897 . In 1900 the range consisted of the two-cylinder model 8 CV as well as several single-cylinder , three-cylinder and four-cylinder models . From 1902 the models 6 CV , 8 CV and 12 CV were manufactured under licenses from Mathieu .
