Usines Mathieu
Usines Mathieu was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles from Zaventem .
Company history
The company Usines de Saventhem, Brevets E. Mathieu , formerly Etablissements de Construction d'Automoteurs système E. Mathieu of the French Eugène Mathieu took over the rival company Usines Delin in 1902 . At the end of 1906 the merger with Belgica took place . That was the end of the Mathieu brand name.
Automobiles
Initially, cars were made with single-cylinder engines with either 6 or 8 hp . In 1903 the single cylinder model 9 CV was added. In 1904 the range was expanded to include the two four-cylinder models 8/12 CV and 15/30 CV . At the beginning of 1906, the range consisted of 14/16 CV , 24/30 CV and 35/45 CV .
motorcycles
The motorcycles produced were marketed under the brand name Automoteurs .
