Automobiles Jules D'Aoust was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

In 1908 Jules d'Aoust opened a repair workshop in Anderlecht . From 1912 he produced automobiles. In 1921 the company moved to Berchem-Sainte-Agathe . Production ended in 1927.

The first vehicles were equipped with engines from Chapuis-Dornier , Aster and Decolange . In 1913 the 10/14 CV model with its own four-cylinder engine with 1858 cm³ displacement was added. In 1919 production of the 10/14 CV was resumed after an interruption due to the war. In 1920 the 16 HP model , also called Circuit de Corse , was introduced with a displacement of 3054 cm³. In 1922 the 10/14 CV was accompanied by a sports version with 1992 cc. In 1923 two Voiturettes were added, both of which were also offered as two- seater sports cars, the 6/8 CV with an engine from Chapuis-Dornier or SCAP with 1094 cm³ displacement and three-speed transmission and the 8 CV with an engine from SCAP and 1099 cm³ displacement and four-speed transmission. Most models were discontinued in 1924. In 1927 the production of the 10/14 CV and the Voiturettes also ended.
