The Construction Liégeoise automobiles was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles . The brand name was initially Knap , later Duryea .

Company history

The company from Rue Lairesse in Liège began in 1898 under the direction of Georgia Knap with the production of automobiles, which were also exported to England . Georgia Knap left the company in 1899, went to France and founded the Société des Moteurs Knap in Troyes in 1904 . The company licensed the Duryea Motor Wagon Company in 1899 . Production ended in 1903.
