The Construction Liégeoise automobiles was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles . The brand name was initially Knap , later Duryea .
Company history
The company from Rue Lairesse in Liège began in 1898 under the direction of Georgia Knap with the production of automobiles, which were also exported to England . Georgia Knap left the company in 1899, went to France and founded the Société des Moteurs Knap in Troyes in 1904 . The company licensed the Duryea Motor Wagon Company in 1899 . Production ended in 1903.

The only model was a tricycle and was similar to Léon Bollée's tricycle . It had a two-speed gearbox and chain drive. The plan was for a series of 50 copies. However, it is unclear how many vehicles were actually built.

The only model was a license production of the American Duryea . The vehicle was equipped with a water-cooled two - cylinder engine that developed 8 hp .
