Baudouin was a Belgian car brand.

Company history

The SA des Atelier HP Déchamps was founded in 1898. The plant was located on Boulevard Baudouin in Brussels . The vehicles offered were marketed as Déchamps . On December 31, 1899, the company was renamed SA des Moteurs et Automobiles Déchamps . The Baudouin brand name was used from January 1904 when new models were developed. Production ended in 1906. The Société de Construction Mécaniques et d'Automobiles , which manufactured automobiles under the brand name Direct between 1904 and 1905, was located in the same building .

vehicles

From 1904 to 1906 there were the four-cylinder models 15 CV with 15 HP and 25 CV with 25 HP. The engines had OHC valve control .
