Speedsport was a Belgian car brand.

Company history

The company Bartsoen & Bonar from Rue Waelhem in Schaerbeek / Schaarbeek presented its first vehicle at the end of 1923 and began producing automobiles in 1924, which were initially marketed as Speedford . As early as 1924 the brand name changed to speed sports . Production ended in 1927.

vehicles

The company donated vehicles based on the Ford Model T ago. The four-cylinder engine with 95 mm bore , 102 mm stroke and 2892 cm³ displacement delivered either 22 or 25 hp . The first models were two-seater sports versions on a shortened chassis . The vehicles were also used successfully in car races. Later there were also coupes with three seats and sedans with five seats.
