Edran Cars is a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Leopoldsburg-based company began producing automobiles in 1984. The brand name is Edran .

Beginnings

The first model was a replica of the Porsche RSK 718 Spyder . There was a choice between a shortened chassis from the VW Beetle for the simpler version and a tubular space frame developed in-house for the more complex version. Motors with between 60 and 135 hp provided the drive . In 1988, a beach car based on a VW Beetle followed.

Spyder Mk I.

The Spyder Mk I was presented as the first stand-alone model at the Brussels Motor Show in 1994. It is a two-seater sports car with a Targa roof . A four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1988 cc and 150 to 180 hp, which is mounted as a central engine, provides the drive .

Enigma

The Enigma presented in 2006 is a coupe with gullwing doors . A V8 engine with a displacement of 7200 cm³ and an output of 800 hp is used.
