The Société Anonyme des Automobiles Ruhl was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles from Dison . The brand name was Ruhl .

Company history

Adolphe Ruhl, a steam engine manufacturer from Dison, founded the company on July 18, 1901. In 1907 the company got into financial difficulties and stopped producing automobiles.

Ruhl designed his first automobile as early as 1900, a Voiturette 3 CV . From 1901 the company produced its first series model. In 1904 the four-cylinder models 14 CV with cardan drive and 24 CV with chain drive followed, as well as the large model 40 CV , whose engine had a displacement of 9800 cm³ .
