Hermes , sometimes referred to as Mathis-Hermes and Mathis type Hermes , was a Belgian car brand. There was no connection to SA Hermès , which manufactured vehicles at the same location under the same brand name three years earlier.

Company history

The company SA Appareils Mécaniques et Engrenages from Bressoux began producing automobiles in 1912 under the management of Dambiermont. Production ended in 1914.

vehicles

The vehicles were derived from models by Mathis and had four-cylinder engines . The engine of the 8 CV or 8/10 CV had a displacement of 1460 cm³ , the 12 CV had a displacement of 1847 cm³ and the 16 CV or 16/20 CV had a displacement of 3054 cm³.

One vehicle still exists and can be viewed at the Autoworld Brussels car museum in Brussels .
