Fabrique Automobile Belge
Fabrique Automobile Belge was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles from Schaerbeek . The brand name was FAB .
Company history
In 1912 FAB took over the factories of the bankrupt car manufacturer Vivinus in Schaarbeek. Production ended in 1914.
vehicles
The company produced the four-cylinder models 12/16 CV Type C with a displacement of 2121 cm³ and the 20/28 CV Type B with a displacement of 3562 cm³. The magneto ignition came from Bosch , the carburetor from Zenith , the gearbox had four gears, the brakes worked on the rear wheels and on the power transmission (gearbox brake).
The vehicles were also used in races.
