Société Ader , previously Société Industrielle des Téléphones-Voitures Automobiles Système Ader , was a French automobile manufacturer .

Company history

In 1900, Clément Ader founded the Société Industrielle des Téléphones-Voitures Automobiles Système Ader in Levallois-Perret for the production of automobiles. In 1904 it was renamed Société Ader . Production ended in 1907.

The first 8 CV model from 1900 had a V2 engine with a displacement of 900 cm³ . The 12 CV followed in 1902 , again with a V2 engine. In 1903 the models 16 CV with V4 engine and 32 CV with V8 engine appeared, which were also used in the 1903 Paris-Madrid race . In 1905 the range consisted of the 16 CV , 20 CV and 25 CV models with four-cylinder in-line engines .

On November 3, 2017, the Bonhams auction house auctioned a vehicle from around 1902 for 102,205 euros .
