H. Lessieux et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Rethel began in 1900 or 1901 with the production of automobiles, which were marketed as L'Ardennaise . Production ended in 1901 or 1903. There was no connection to Maison Demorgny , which also offered automobiles under this brand name.

The only model 5 CV was equipped with a single cylinder engine and cardan drive . The engine had replaceable cylinders for water or air cooling . The open bodies offered space for two or four people.
