Company history

Georges Averly (1853-1931) was an electrical engineer. In 1899 he founded the company in Lyon to manufacture automobiles. Production ended in 1901. Only a few copies were made. In 1919, Georges Averly founded the Société Anonyme des Établissements Georges Averly in Lyon.
