Tourand et Cie was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company began producing automobiles in Le Havre in 1900 . The brand name was Tourand . After a break of several years, vehicles were again manufactured in Suresnes between 1905 and 1907 .
vehicles
The first model was a two-cylinder engine with 6 hp output of Crozet equipped. The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle via two chains .
In 1905 the range consisted of models with four-cylinder engines and cardan drive . The engines developed either 16 HP, 18 HP, 40 HP, 60 HP or 70 HP. In 1906 a racing car followed with an engine with 80 hp. This vehicle was offered as a used car at The Autocar in 1912 .
