The Société Générale d'Automobiles Électro-Mécaniques was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Puteaux company started producing automobiles in 1907. The brand name was GEM . The designer was Léonce Girardot , who previously worked for CGV . Production ended in 1909.

After a license from Auto-Mixte , models with hybrid drive were created . A four-cylinder - valve engine of the Daimler Motor Company with 20 hp power was used during the drive to charge the batteries.
