Voitures Ultramobile was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1908. The brand name was Ultramobile . Production ended again in the same year. There was no connection to the German Ultramobile Society . The connections to Oldsmobile and the Oldsmobile Curved Dash are unclear; the design features are different.

The only model was the 6/12 CV . A four-cylinder engine provided the drive . The engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The bodies offered space for two or four people , depending on the wheelbase selected .
