Mototri Contal was a French manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Paris-based company began producing automobiles in 1900. Production ended in 1910.

There were three wheelers manufactured in which the individual wheel was back. The driver sat in the back on a saddle, the passenger in front. There were both touring cars and delivery vans . The output was either 3.5 hp , 4 hp or 6 hp. The drive was via a chain on the rear wheel.

Others

A vehicle of this brand was used by Auguste Pons on the long-distance journey from Beijing to Paris in 1907. The vehicle broke down and was left in the Gobi Desert .
