Cournil was a French manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Bernard Cournil company from Aurillac (Cantal) began producing automobiles in 1958. UMM from Portugal was a licensee from 1977. In 1980 Société IDMI took over the company and changed the brand name to Autoland in 1983/84 . In 1984 Auverland took over the company and marketed the vehicles as Auverland. The Cournil company is now a car dealership and continues to sell spare parts for the Cournil, UMM and Auverland vehicles.

There were SUVs produced. At first they resembled the jeep . A revision followed from 1965, now the vehicles were visually more independent. A four-cylinder engine from Peugeot provided the drive .
